Insurance

In Network: Aetna and United Healthcare

Out of Network: Any insurance not listed above

At this time, I can provide a superbill for insurance reimbursement at out of network rates.

A superbill is a bill form that insurance companies typically accept. Ask your therapist for a superbill and you are ready to send it to your insurance company for reimbursement at out of network rates. Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part.

If you have questions about your insurance coverage, on the back of your insurance card the 800# is a good way to contact your insurance company about coverage questions.

I accept clients claiming on their OON benefits.

Here are some recommend questions to ask your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
  • Do you cover marital/couples counseling for relationship issues? Note: Couples/Marital sessions are typically excluded from most insurance plans.

Accepted Payment:

Cash, AmEx, Visa, Mastercard, Health Savings Account

Cancellation Policy

Be mindful of our cancellation policy as you may be charged cancellation fees. We require 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling appointments. Please contact your therapist about schedule changes by email at: vw@veronicawilburliswcounseling.com, by phone at 614-467-0724 or through the patient portal. With proper notice, a cancellation fee will not apply. However, in the event of a less than 48 hour notice, a fee of $75 will be charged to the payment method of record.

Good Faith Law Estimate

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, or hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

This is also part of your your intake paperwork. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

The Good Faith Estimate for all clients is the current session rate multiplied by the number of sessions. For example, individual sessions are billed at a rate of $125. The total cost would be $125 per session prior to you submitting the superbill to insurance for reimbursement at out of network rates. Sessions are scheduled at the discretion of the client.
