ADD/ADHD Counseling

Adult ADHD is typically more manageable with a focused treatment approach. Therapy can include behavioral interventions along with treatment of other co occurring mental health conditions that are more commonly diagnosed in individuals with ADHD. Medication for those who have found it to be helpful may also be a discussion to have with your healthcare provider/prescriber. 

Who is qualified to diagnose ADHD? For adults, an ADHD diagnostic evaluation should be conducted by a licensed mental health professional or a physician. These professionals include clinical psychologists, physicians (psychiatrist, neurologist, family doctor or other type of physician) or clinical social workers.
